I am a cognitive psychologist and full CNRS research professor at the University of Paris. I study how people reason and make decisions. My research mainly focuses on the interplay between intuition and deliberation, with particular attention to reasoning bias and intelligence. I combine experimental, developmental and neuroimaging approaches to understand when intuitive thinking goes wrong and right—and what this reveals about human (and artificial) rationality.
